Hi there!

I’m Sean and I am the owner and sole tutor who currently provides all services at Edmonton Learning Hub which was established in 2024.

Experience

I have seven years of university education and over eight years of teaching experience in Alberta classrooms. I have taught a wide variety of subjects to grades five through twelve students. Prior to my teaching career, I also spent two years tutoring students in introductory-level university courses. I am currently enrolled in a full-time Master’- level program to further my own education. Some workshops of note are listed on this page, but I have been a literacy lead teacher for schools and I have a special interest in teaching both Math and Social Studies. I have attended professional development on these three subjects throughout the past fourteen years and stayed up to date on how to create research supported and rich learning experiences.

Student engagement comes first. Students also learn best from someone who they feel respected by and that they respect.

Outside of the time I spend learning and teaching, you can often find me doing something active, like tennis or squash with friends, biking for coffee with my wife, playing fetch with our dog, or planning an adventure to the Rockies.
